Sofia Farré Flotats (Barcelona, 1997) began her film studies at the age of 19 at Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC), specializing in film direction. In her second year, she directed New Face, a documentary short film that follows a group of underage fashion models from Eastern Europe working one summer in Tokyo and that premieres at DocumentaMadrid 2019. Two years later, she graduates with the fiction project Nàdia, a family drama about a teenager, also related to the world of modeling, who faces the imminent death of her father.
