Luis Gerardo LoGar is a filmmaker based in Mexico City.
He has written and directed the short films “A CLOWN”, “Damn Hobo!”, “ANDY-O”, and he produced and co-wrote the short film “Punk Talk”. His work has been showcased at the BFI Future, Cinequest, London Short, San Diego Latino, Taxco Film Fest, and many others.
Damn Hobo! premiered at the BFI Future Film Festival and won the Best International Film Special Mention. It also received nominations for Best Director, Best Writer, and Best Experimental Film.
He was selected in the distribution lab “CONECTA” by Retina Latina and the Ministry of culture of Colombia for the upcoming filmmakers of Latin America. It took place during the Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM).
