Sonia and Miriam Albert-Sobrino, known as the ALSO Sisters, create narratives that explore and amplify the female experience within patriarchal societies. Their works, often in the horror genre, have gained recognition at renowned festivals, with their first feature film nominated for Best Debut Feature at the 25th Raindance Film Festival. Currently, they have two short films on the festival circuit and are immersed in post-production for their second feature film, The Stairwell, while sharing their knowledge and passion for filmmaking as professors at the University of Utah.
