Aitana “Ahrens” Martínez studies animation in Palma de Mallorca’s UIB, and also does a documentary course in the New York Film Academy, which grants her a particular vision on directing. Thanks to her eclectic references, she experiments with genre and formats in her steps through the Filmmaking degree in ECAM, giving her work a rich space full of irony, self-referentiality and a huge political drift.
She is currently distributing Plastic Touch, which premieres in the LesGai Film Festival in Madrid, while she works as first assistant director in shootings.
