Daniel Andrés Pedrosa is a young filmmaker from Madrid, who has established himself over 12 years of constant activity in short films, music videos, documentaries, web series and commercials. During his adolescence, he developed his taste for cinema. He started making short films with his friends to learn the language of cinema. After puberty, he began to train as a professional, studying filmmaking, editing and 3D animation later. Finally, in 2009, he finished school and began to develop his first professional personal projects, which resulted in the first nominations and awards for short films such as
“El zumito”, “Fedades” or “La hostia sagrada”. Then comes his first job in advertising, for “Blackberry”. This work will be followed by many more for brands such as “Hellmann’s”, “Honda” or “Philips”, at which time Daniel decides to associate to found his own production company. In 2014, Daniel is selected as a director in the European advertising competition organized by Lancia Ypsilon. The ad wins the international jury award, which is made up of film personalities such as Luca Bigazzi, Silvio Soldini and Paolo Borraccetti. A year after, the short “I-D”, after numerous nominations in national and international festivals, wins the award for the best short of “RTVE”. Daniel currently works as a freelance screenwriter, director and editor in London.
