Estefania Ortiz is a screenwriter, director, and script supervisor. Her first short film, “todos los días de verano son tristes” (all summer days are sad), produced by Alhena Production, has received multiple national and international selections, including notable appearances at the Madrid Film Festival, FILMETS, and the VOC Awards by Òmnium Cultural. Her second project, “Ya eres una mujer” (a little woman), featuring Laia Artigas (from “Estiu 1993”), is produced by Dosmentes and Shoji Films and was selected at FICIE.
Her stories always stem from personal experiences, with a focus on childhood, memory, and family. Estefania holds a degree in Communication from UB and has completed two Master’s programs in film from ECIB and UPF.
