Geordie Trifa is a Canadian director of Chinese and Romanian heritage. His most recent directing credits include the Cities episode of the blue-chip documentary series ‘Shared Planet’ (CBC, ARTE, PBS) and the short documentary ‘Scenes In a Coq au Vin’ featuring celebrity chef Charles X Michel. Geordie’s latest drama is the Harold Greenberg financed Call Me AWOL, which premiered at the 2022 Reelworld Film Festival and was nominated for best live-action short at the 47th Indian American Film Festival. Other directing credits include the CBC films Pandemic Elementary’ and ‘Black Rock,’ and his feature documentary ‘A Life Unbound’ (Off The Fence). ‘A Life Unbound’ is broadcast in eight countries and was nominated for the Jury Prize at the 2020 Raw Science Film Festival.
