Ignacio Rodó always wanted to be a troubadour. Unfortunately, he was born several centuries too late, so he had to make do with being a filmmaker instead.
Since directing his first short film in 2007, his work has won more than 100 awards and has been selected for more than 750 international film festivals (including several Oscar qualifying).
His short film Tuck me in (2014) is an internet hit, having been viewed more than 15 million times. The film has won more than 30 awards and has been screened at more than 250 film festivals.
The rights for his short films ‘El abogado’ (2016) and ‘Deep down’ (2019) have been acquired by HBO USA.
Ignacio combines his experience in cinema with more than 10 years working in advertising, where he has focused on directing and producing commercials.
