Javier Rubio studied Cinematography at the TAI School of Arts (2005/2006) and the CEV Higher School of Audiovisual Training, 3D Animation and New Technologies (2006-2008). He gained experience in television and film shooting, working in various positions such as assistant director, casting director and producer. He has written and directed numerous short films, including “In Private” (2010) and “In The System” (2017). These works have been selected for hundreds of national and international festivals and have won around twenty awards. He has written and directed fiction pieces for several NGOs, including food banks and animal shelters, and provided marketing and advertising services and advice to companies.
