Dominican director, screenwriter, and photographer. In 2018, she moved to Barcelona, Spain, where she graduated in Film Directing from the Escola de Cinema de Barcelona (ECIB). Her graduation short film, O que me parta un rayo, premiered and won the Best Screenplay award in the Nova Autoria section at the 56th edition of the Sitges International Film Festival. It was also an official selection at the Málaga Film Festival, the Brussels Short Film Festival (an Oscar-qualifying festival), the Filmschoolfest Munich, among others, and was a candidate for the 17th Gaudí Awards. Her second short film, Juanita, which she co-wrote and co-directed, premieres at the 75th Berlinale, while she is currently writing her first feature film, a co-production between the Dominican Republic and Spain.
