Laura Obradors graduated from ESCAC with a degree in Screenwriting. In 2019, she wrote and co-directed her debut short film, ‘Si amanece, nos vamos’, as her end-of-degree project. It premiered at SEMINCI 2020’s The Night of the Spanish Short Film. Her work has been showcased in international festivals such as Curta Cinema (Rio de Janeiro) and has earned accolades, including four awards at Cortogenia (Madrid). She served as a teacher at ESCAC and was a Youth Jury member at the Sitges Film Festival in 2022. Currently, she holds the position of Head of Development at Zabriskie Films. In 2024, she wrote and directed her first solo short film, ‘The Girls’, supported by the ICAA (Spanish Ministry of Culture), the ICEC (Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises) and MEDIA (Creative Europe).
