Lucía Lalor is a writer and director from Buenos Aires.
She studied film at FUC (Buenos Aires) and was part of programs such as IDFA Academy, Locarno Documentary School, JiHlava Academy, DokLab Navarra, Interaction Serbia, Programa de Cine Ditella, Filmo,Luego Existo (Master Lav).
She directed the films “Notes on a Dromedary” (2022) with the mentorship of Werner Herzog, “Igneous Journal” (2022), “I changed the windows of my house” (2022- done for the Festival Extra at Centre Pompidou), “At this moment I am emotionally somewhere else” (2022- part of JiHlava Film Festival), “Azul” (2019) and “Paulina” (2017). Her works have been screened at BAFICI, Centre Pompidou, Tallin POFF Shorts, Oaxaca, Kadin, Bulgaria, amongst others.
Currently she is working on two feature films: “MAM” an autobiographical documentary (winner of the FIC Guadalajara prize at SANFIC Chile) and a fiction called “Saturn Return”.
