Argentine director and film editor. She was awarded by the Spanish Association of Authors of Cinematography AEC, before debuting her career with “Silvia”. Her documentary feature film had its world premiere at IDFA, received the Artistic Vision Award at Docaviv, and won at the Havana Festival, DocLisboa, among others. Selected for the Biennale of Young Art Buenos Aires, the director was in IDFA Summer School and the IDFA Project Space, with her new project “Mailin”, winner of the IDFA Bertha Fund and double award winner at the Visions du Réel Industry as the project with the highest international potential. Currently, Silvia is writing her first fiction feature “Fauces”, winner of the Focus COPRO’ 2022 – Festival de Cannes. The film is based on his short film “Criatura”, winner of the Pardino d’oro for the Best Auteur Short film at the Locarno Film Festival. As the only Argentine film in Cannes 2022, her animation short film “The Spiral” had its world premiere at the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs.
