In a poor country ruined by a recent war, in the midst of a dictatorship, a film school was created. And it became, unintentionally, a space of freedom. That dream lasted only fifteen years but forever changed the history of Spanish cinema. Today we still have the practices of all its students. The first frames shot by those who would mark our lives as spectators: Bardem, Berlanga, Saura, Erice, Patino, Summers, Olea, Mercero, Borau… They help us to understand the greatness of the dreams of those apprentice filmmakers and to observe the modernization process of a country ravaged by many traumas.
